Bipolar's New Album is up on Bandcamp!

I had the pleasure of becoming the new keyboard player/backup vocalist of one of my favorite NY bands, Bipolar, before this Quarantine business began and I’m thrilled to say our first album, 1-(800)-CALL-ICE, is up on Bandcamp, and soon to be on all your other favorite music streaming services. It’s a rowdy ride that’s sneeringly smart, tough, driving, unhinged and furiously fun. Hope we see ya’ll from the stage again soon <3 <3 <3

Village of Love- Valentine's Day Planned Parenthood Benefit!!

Panache Booking/New York Night Train just threw their annual benefit, Village of Love, for Valentine’s Day— and I couldn’t think of a better way to spend this love-filled holiday than by playing to raise money for Planned Parenthood, an organization that’s helped so many of us over the years. I played keys in the house band— we played 20 songs, each sung by a different radically talented female vocalist (I even had the good fortune of singing my favorite song by The Damned) and boy oh boy, everyone that attended FELT THE LOVE!!! There were Village of Love parties in a couple different cities across the country, and we managed to raise over $39,000 to support PP! Spread the love, spread knowledge, spread awareness and protect reproductive rights!

REMNANT in Bosnia!

Just got back from performing in Sarajevo, Bosnia at their absolutely incredible MESS Festival. It was such an honor to perform with artists from around the world and to be welcomed so warmly to a city that has become one of my favorite places in the entire world.

Opening for King Khan & The Shrines!!!

I’m still flying high after opening for one of my all-time favorite bands, King Khan & The Shrines at the sold-out show at Knitting Factory last night! It was one of the most fun nights ever (even though King Khan got mad at me for throwing a beer can at him while he was onstage—It was done in love, I swear!!)

Theater Mitu's feature in The New York Times!

This is not fake news! The New York Times did a beautiful feature about Theater Mitu, our new multi-disciplinary arts venue in Gowanus, Mitu580, and our world premiere of our new piece, REMNANT. It’s a meditation on death, trauma and loss and what remains in their wake. I’m so thrilled to put this piece into the world— I had the privilege of traveling the world to do research for this piece— including going to India and Nepal to learn about death rituals, Cambodia to speak to survivors of genocide, Israel and Egypt to speak to former soldiers, and across the United States to interview survivors of Military Sexual Trauma. Please join us in the first ever production in our new space, Mitu580— we’d love to welcome you with what I believe to be a very healing piece.

Deer Hide

I had the most incredible time shooting in Pennsylvania for Jarret Kerr’s new short film, Deer Hide this week. Keep an eye out for anything and everything that man does, because everything he touches is solid gold!
